Help! My Automation Isn't Working

Setting up an automation has many failure points. So before reaching out for support, please ensure that you have read the support documentation for your exchange and followed all intstructions.

It's essential to ensure that the following key elements are correctly configured:

API Permissions

Double-check that the API key permissions are set up as specified in the documentation. Missing or incorrect permissions can prevent the bot from executing trades or accessing necessary account features.

Whitelist Assets

Ensure that the assets are whitelisted correctly. Only USDT pairings are supported by the bot, so make sure you’re using the USDT pairing for your trades. Without this, trades will fail to execute.

One-Way Mode

The bot is designed to function in one-way mode only, meaning hedge mode is not supported. Make sure your exchange account is set to one-way mode, or the bot will not operate as expected.

Fund the correct account

Your USDT balance must be held in the futures or unified trading account. If the funds are in a different account, the bot won’t be able to execute trades. Ensure that your USDT is available in the correct account type before starting.

By verifying these items, you can avoid common setup issues and streamline the troubleshooting process, ensuring smooth bot operation.
